Overview of The Level III (Advanced or Business English Course)

Ready or not, English is now the global language of business. More and more multinational companies are mandating English as the common corporate language. This course is designed for the advanced learners or the executive levels professionals who are busy in day to day job in a fast-pace business environment. Much of the professional business communication that takes place within business circles all over the world occurs between non-native speakers. In cases such as these, the object of the exercise is efficient and effective communication and strict rules of grammar is highly observed. Business English means different things to different people. For some, it focuses on topics used in the worlds of business, trade, finance, and international relations. For others it refers to the communication skills used in the workplace, and focuses on the language and skills needed for typical business communication skills, presentations, negotiations, meetings, socializing, correspondence, report writing and a systematic approach to anything in the field of business.

At higher levels of English language learning, it is very common to reach a plateau – This English course is a proficiency based on your combination of strengths in the four different skill areas: Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking.

This level of advanced English course is mainly used as a language tool for business, as it is applied in a more professional context. It is more extensive and more specific in the areas of making presentations, writing a business proposal, conducting conferences, meetings or seminars, preparing social gatherings and sometimes active in scientific and legal research activities.
